Nokia N8 makes a date
Tags: Nokia N8
Nokia’s N8 “multimedia powerhouse” Symbian^3 phone will be available from the “last week of September” in the UK if you pre-order it from Nokia’s website. If fancy trotting down to the high street though, then you’ll have to wait a couple of days – it won’t be available until 1st October.
The phone’s camera has been getting a lot of praise – it’s 12 megapixel and can record in HD. Videos can be edited using a unique, built-in editing suite and then played back with Dolby Digital Plus surround sound.
“The Nokia N8 is perfect for creating and sharing great content in high-definition, using HDMI out to connect to your TV as well as hot-USB swap. We’re making it fun and easy to capture and share memorable moments on the go,” says Mark Loughran from Nokia UK.
It’ll set you back £429 SIM free or on contract from £35 per month.
Party ipad
Tags: Griffin, iPad, iPhone 4, Party Dock, PartyDockPurveyors of fine Apple peripherals Griffin have filed a copyright patent for the most ambitious looking iPad / iPhone dock yet – one that turns your iPad or iPhone 4 into a fully fledged game console.
The sleek looking dock contains four joypads and can be connect to a TV. It’s simple to set up and comes with three PartyDock mini-games and one full game. Additional PartyDock games can be downloaded from iTunes – only these games are compatible with it, so there’s no chance of playing Doodle Jump or Angry Birds on your TV just yet.
For details such as price and release date, keep an eye on the official website.
Sony makes a Move in Taiwan
Tags: Asian Babes, PlayStation, Sony MoveSony is launching the PlayStation Move in Taiwan next month – 15th September, to be precise – so in an attempt to convince gamers that it isn’t just a Wii remote with a ping pong ball attached they’ve been out and about demonstrating it via some lovely ladies.
The Move’s line-up does look a little more interesting than the Kinect line-up, including Time Crisis: Razing Storm, a revamp of Resident Evil 5 and Socom 4 along with a handful of predictable looking party and sports mini-game collections.
More photos from the event can be found at Mobile 01.
Bizarre LG promotional photos
Tags: Fridge, Girls, Korean, LG, LG Dios, Naked, Oddness, PaintedIt seems this is all to promote the LG Dios, a fridge. The girl painted pink is supposed to represent heat, whilst the blue girl represents cold. Hmm. That still doesn’t really explain anything.
Still, clearly LG’s Korean marketing department is staffed by horny old men, who release new fridges just to get touched by Eva Longoria. You almost have to respect that.
Go China! Or, erm, Italy?

As almost the whole world knows (some Americans possibly excluded), the FIFA 2010 World Cup starts this Friday. Whilst China haven’t qualified for this year’s tournament, Chinese blogger/model Lin Ketong is clearly already in the World Cup spirit.
Presumably she’s supporting Italy. We suppose we can look past that.

LG’s super hi-res 84 inch 3D TV

Continuing the trend for really big, high definition, 3D televisions, LG have unveiled their latest 3D TV – an 84 inch, 3,840 x 2,160 pixel 3D TV! That’s a lot of inches and four times the pixels of a standard 1080p HD display (double the vertical resolution and double the horizontal resolution). The accompanying Korean women look quite tiny in comparison (which we hear are given away as free accessories with the TV, possibly).
Unfortunately, you do still have to wear those stupid glasses. So it could all be a little bit pointless, as we suspect better tech that doesn’t require glasses will be the real goal.

Well, this week’s Sunday Girl takes the form of a random Chinese girl appearing in an iPad advert. Obviously not official Apple marketing by the looks of things.
